    Pros

Had a really great experience working at Franklin Square, despite a few hiccups in lack of management.

    Cons

Growing pains and realignments lead to miscommunication.

    Pros

Seemingly friendly culture with a big (almost exclusive focus) on distribution. Health conscious environment, where every employee gets assigned a physical trainer on premises

    Cons

They never reimbursed me for travel expenses incurred while interviewing even though I traveled from out-of-state for the meeting. When I followed up there was little response.

    Advice to Management

Michael needs to be more aware of how his reports run their businesses.

    Pros

Company is firmly founded on principles of creating a unique and transparent product for investors.

    Cons

Aggressive growth comes with pains. The need to maintain the growth trajectory often causes management to chase the next thing. Need to focus on core competencies before taking on new projects.

    Advice to Management

Take a deep breath and enjoy the success, but don't let continued growth cause things to crumble from within. Focus on what you are good at first.

    Pros

Good growth company, Original location was great but new head office is not central to public transportation. Steady Job growth and the Pay is higher than many in the industry and location.

    Cons

Senior Management not very competent. Company has grown drastically in the past decade but senior leadership is very young and not experienced. They hand out titles easily, the only company I know where you have a guy under 30 with no Masters Degree and an undergrad from a state school that can make it to Executive Director. They promote if you are unhappy so if you're looking for the name and title then this will probably work for you. A Director level here is barely a manager in other companies. Diluted titles which will you in other organizations.

    Advice to Management

You don't really nurture talented employees. Seems like the more you complain, the bigger jerk you are then you get promoted if you threaten to leave the company while hard working, talented, but maybe less outspoken employees are overlooked. Management has a long way to go, the core individuals that started this company don't have any people management skills, strategy planning experience, nor can they nurture and develop their employees.

  6. Great Company to work for- fast paced entrepreneurial environment with a lot of upside potential.
