Pros – I received 3 raises in a year

Cons – they don't give enough payroll for a store to run well. there is too much to do with little payroll

Pros – Reasonable schedule. Not difficult work.

Cons – Customers can get away with anything and upper management tells us to let them do as they like, for fear of upsetting them. Our shrinkage is huge because no one will stand up to those we know are changing prices, throwing temper tantrums to get something discounted because it's on the wrong shelf, letting their kids tear the place up.

Advice to Senior Management – Set some standards for customer behavior and stand up to them.

Pros – The Fred's Pharmacy in Colbert, Georgia gives a Small town feel.

Cons – Front end and pharmacy never seem to be on the same page.

Pros – Regular customers are awesome. Easy job. Pay decent for the area. Store operatipns were very simple. Benefits seemed fine. Influence of schedule usually.

Cons – Regional manager only cares about managers!! HR doesnt care about regular employeea. Payroll and hours were TERRIBLE. The new store manager had no idea what she was doing, but they praised her for changing corporate policies and rules. Treated employees like dogs. Manager only wanted to sit in the office on her iPhone all day. Wasnt going to let me leave on a well staffed day, even with an injured back. Expectations are ridiculous for the pay and time alloted. No appreciation for well completed work. Corporate doesnt care when customers are treated like garbage. Could go on and on.

Advice to Senior Management – Change the way you treat the "small" employees!! Hourly people run the stores, while overpaid managers do nothing and collect all the compliments.

Pros – I generally like the products. The company has come a long way in the quality of the products and the presentation.

Cons – Too many chiefs. Each seemingly with a different agenda. Most workers make minimum wage only with no raises. Employee discount only three days a year.

Advice to Senior Management – It's bad enough to be paid nothing, but we have to pay the same as the customers? At least discount food.

Cons – You are always lied to by management and other ones higher up in the company. When someone higher than you gives their notice that they are leaving they are begged to stay. I have been with the company 2 years and it is a dead end place to work.
