    Pros

    FCWS offers great opportunities for personal and professional growth. Staff and management is very collaborative, always open to a new and/or better idea from any source. FCWS has been repeatedly identified as the best in the State of Maryland at preparing job seekers for the workforce. Friendly and personable staff offer resources and support to candidates as well as help and guidance to employers who are looking for workers.

    Cons

    Political climate is unstable at the moment (not within Workforce Services, but within County Government.) Ongoing possibility of layoffs in any department with very little notice. And it's a relatively small thing, but the office is really cold this winter.

    Advice to Management

    Please turn up the heat! Other than that, it's very nearly a perfect place to work.

    No pay for interns, unclear about instructions for daily assignments, slow pace environment, more individual based work.
