Freeport-McMoRan Reviews
-
Pros
The money and amount of vacation were good.
Cons
I was working at their property in Indonesia. Before starting there I anticipated that the major challenges of the job would be dealing with the environment (cold, rainy etc.) and the isolation (very small town). These things were tolerable. What ended up being the biggest challenge was dealing with management. There was very little communication and acquiring the tools I needed to do my job was always a struggle. The company is very shrewd and instead of giving feedback if there are issues they will simply get rid of you and try someone else.
