    Pros

It is company that has a lot of potential for growth. Casual office environment.

    Cons

They could train employees better and more collectively. Instead of picking and choosing who to train first, it should be so that everyone feels like they are working as a team and not picking up after others.

    Pros

Great PTO days off and the staff is really nice. They encourage students right out of high school and there is plenty of room to grow

    Cons

The pay is low compared to the titles and the hours can be long during the close process depending on what department you are in.

    Advice to Management

More training to new employees and a better understanding of how people learn. Teaching by powerpoint does not always do the trick

    Pros

The longer you work here the more PTO you earn though time off, sick and holiday is rolled up into one bucket. Company pays a good bit of the medical, however be careful which plan you choice cause you could end up paying more out of pocket. Dental is about the same you'll find any where else. The company's intranet has a wealth of knowledge that can assist you with your job however most new employees don't know about all the information as the setup is very hard to navigate and search features are horrible.

    Cons

Company tends to re-org every few years. Past year and half the financial teams across the whole company are being centralized including Accounts Payable, Billing and more. There is a lot of politics with the re-org as everyone wants things to be ran their way or their group to be in charge. With the re-org a lot of jobs are being created and posted however most of the time upper management already knows who they are hiring so you don't have a chance of getting the job. A lot of favoritism with Manager's and their staff, it all depends on where you work and who you work for it's a good environment. For such a large company they are very behind on technology services. Also there's always a ton of hoops to jump through to items changed or updated. If you work in any of the Financial areas the pay is very low compared to what other companies pay (i.e. for accountants, analyst, etc.) The longer you are there the more likely you are to be capped out on your pay.

    Advice to Management

When making company wide changes don't forget to take in account how those changes will effect the financial teams, billing teams, etc. More recognition for long term employees. Training programs for the financial and billing side like the clinical side receives.

    Pros

Good benefits package. Enjoyed working in business/financial side of things while still being close with my patients. Learned a lot about the business of medical care,

    Cons

Too many projects all the time, leaving too little time for actual patient care. Too much focus on spreadsheets and numbers instead of the actual people these printouts affect.

    Advice to Management

Not sure what needs to change. Would benefit the company to put more effort into small perks for the clinic level staff.

    Pros

Good benefits and good people as long as they are not management.

    Cons

Management is the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. Yelling and screaming and habitual liars.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people and quit thinking about the almighty dollar

    Pros

Great vacation time, education reimbursement, flexible work schedule

    Cons

Mediocre, training not offered to all employees across the board. Certain employees are groomed for different positions

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees equally and really make some changes that will have an impact on everyone in the company.

    Pros

I have met some very nice and hard working people working for this company. And the clinic setup is very good as far as making them all very similar.

    Cons

This company does not treat employees very well. They expect a lot of work from each employee with very low pay. I have spoke to many people within the company and none of them were very happy about their job, the pay was low and the work was to plentiful.

    Advice to Management

Please look at your workforce and really see how much work is being done by so few. All for the sake of the share holders.

    Pros

    - Great place to gain experience and learn
    - Decent benefits
    - Tuition reimbursement
    - Stable company and industry
    - Opportunities for advancement

    Cons

    - Average compensation
    - Generous vacation days but holidays are treated as vacation
    - All information is given on a need to know basis
    - Overtime required especially at month end

    Advice to Management

    - Management should better compensate their employees. Non-confidential information should be shared with people who need it. Operations management should have a more balanced mix between people with business and clinical backgrounds.

    Pros

FMC is a good place to work because they don't fire employees very often unless you fire yourself. I have not seen any layoffs. They will try and find a place for you to work if your facility shuts down or you are hurt.

    Cons

It seems as management does not recognize or care about the common worker. There is a lot of back biting and politicing in upper management. Everyone has too many jobs and not enough time to complete the work. It is very unorganized at the lower level.

    Advice to Management

I would like to evaluate my upper-management team to let them know how they are doing without the thought of backlash. Some areas of the company would run smoother if some managers were held accountable to their management capabilities.
