    Pros

It is company that has a lot of potential for growth. Casual office environment.

    Cons

They could train employees better and more collectively. Instead of picking and choosing who to train first, it should be so that everyone feels like they are working as a team and not picking up after others.

    Pros

They are really trying to move MSWs from case managers to medical counseling. Pay wasn't bad for first job out of grad school.

    Cons

Caseloads were way too large- almost 150 patients in three different settings. Rural Mississippi population had a lot of needs outside of dialysis clinic. Not all staff followed up on their jobs with patients. Company not supportive of military spouse status, was told to I could transfer my job but received little help from supervisors in making it happen. Spent four months speaking with HR, clinic managers, and directors of operations only leading to unemployment. Commercially insured patients treated better. Had to use PTO on holidays even if the clinic was closed. Bottom-line: profit driven company. I'd rather work for a non-profit knowing they weren't exploiting patient insurances.

    Pros

    Overtime is ALWAYS available somewhere.
Patients are so easy to become attached to which means they're more inclined to take care of their bodies bc they feel like somebody really DOES care.
Training a new employee that doesn't have any experience is a HUGE bonus.
Tuition reimbursement program is great but comes with a lot of strings attached.

    Cons

I know i put the patients on the pro list but they also have to be put on the con list too.
Great Clinic managers are way too few and you WILL learn very quickly about yours. Mine was sadly taking advantage of us PCT/CCHT's without a care about our families, hours or personal lives outside of the clinic. If you choose to work for this company, be prepared to be treated like a slave. Just how it is.
    No paid holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clinic managers really need to remember that (a majority of the time) they use to be a PCT, CCHT, and/or RN and worked their way up...and that a lot of the PCT's are in school to do the same. Positive remarks will ALWAYS make employees work harder, be happier and also makes the patients feel better as well.
Clinic managers really do need to be closely monitored and evaluated.

    Cons

    Pros

Dialysis is all what you make it. All companies have their ups and downs. I just find that FMCNA has more ups and in my own opinion treats staff just a bit better. Patients in my clinic get well qualified care, not the assembly line that you find at so many clinics who hire minimally skilled staff at best.

    Cons

Long Hours, lack of support from charge nurses during turn over when under staffed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better compensation to those with years of experience in non nursing titles, i.e, PCT's.....They carry you and make or break your numbers!
