I worked at Friedman & Huey Associates as an intern for less than a year
Pros – You learn a lot and get to interact with managers and partners. Almost everyone was really nice.
Cons – Pay for internship sort of on the lower side. Internship was very disorganized, and feedback could be better. Way more interns than available full-time spots that they hire. Not sure that they hire the most qualified interns as well. Even after interning for 3-4 months, still have to interview for full-time positions. You think they would know from our work. CPAs not required for most of staff.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide better feedback, be more organized, and make decisions on hiring interns for full-time positions based off 3 or so of tax returns
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
