    Pros

Pay is the best in the business if u get in good with the other managers you will be fine.

    Cons

A lot of hrs say 55 to 60 but is more like 65 to 75 you work a lot of 6 days Even though u only are suppose to work 6 days only twice a yr.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When talking to employees remember its only burgers and fries u can't expect people making min wage to listin to managers all the time we are not a 5* restaurant if we were u would have a better employee pool to interview

    I worked at Frisch's full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Structure, discipline, benefits, bonus potential. Flexible schedules for employees and managers. Seniority of company and leaders.

    Cons

Change everyday. Change is good but when we'd have a rollout, the first day would bring 5-10 changes of the recipe, how to serve it, etc. Even the DM wouldn't know the correct way until the day of a visit. CEO not comfortable with changing with the times. No dinner menu. Bipolar area supervisors in Louisville that would say one thing, do another. Come into your stores screaming and cursing at you, your staff, throwing things...in front of guests as well! Upper management is a good Ol boys club!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Watch your cameras! See the way the supervisors treat the stores. Work with HR to stop allowing retaliation on people that have 100% legit grievances.

Current Employee - Server in Cincinnati, OH

I have been working at Frisch's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

there are days that I can make some good money. I can usually get off around 10-10:30 every night. Payday is every Monday. great benefits.

    Cons

They make the schedule 3 days in advance of the upcoming week. They take way too many taxes out of the paychecks. They give the worst or the new cooks to the new servers. and they give the people who tip good to the more experienced servers. if we want to make more money that night, we have to constantly take other peoples tables.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Switch up the schedule. let the newer servers get the good days and let some of the older servers step back. also stop hiring new people also if some one tells their availability, don't schedule them for 3 days out of the week.

    I worked at Frisch's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

There are no pros to this employer.

    Cons

Poor products, no integrity in upper management and unrealistic goals.(example) a drive thru expectation of 2:30 but it takes 3:30 to just cook an order of French fries and then you are held accountable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the company to someone that knows the business or you will become extinct.

I worked at Frisch's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I had a great time working with the other kitchen crew. The atmosphere was fun for the most part. One of my managers was great. Got a little bit of training. For a fast food kitchen, we actually kept things very clean. I like that part.

    Cons

My other mangers were much difficult to work with. You felt like you couldn't talk to them. Minimum wage. No real career path, though I wasn't honestly expecting one as this was just a part time gig. Sometimes I was forced to send old food (or food that was sub-par for some reason) out to customers even though I knew it shouldn't have been. Management doesn't care about the quality of the food. It is all about the timer they have running for each order. The faster the order goes out, the better, regardless if they food is not done well. That was what I disliked the most.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider expanding your training beyond videos. A "module" of training for each station would have been great.
