Pros
Entrepreneurial. Gave me opportunities to try out my ideas. As the company was growing rapidly I got a chance to grow very quickly. Lots of young bright people who are ambitious and thats fun.
Cons
Benefits can be improved. Need to be tougher on non performers. Not the best organized. You have to find your own way and be a self starter.
Advice to Senior Management
Reduce number of new ideas. Eliminate the things which are not working quickly. Invest in good IT systems. Improve benefits.
Pros
Good place to know and understand. Access to databases. Can develop fundamental knowledge about the field in which u work in
Cons
Interns are not treated well. They are treated as a source of cheap labour. U never feel as a part of the company. U feel like one of the furniture there. Just there to serve ur purpose
Pros
Great office view
Central location
Exposure to quite a wide variety of industries and divisions. Few people who are downright horrible.
Cons
Some consultants are horrible, but others are really nice. It depends on who you work for.
Interns aren't given the opportunity to sit in meetings.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior management should allow interns to sit in during meetings and play a greater role in discussions and client projects
Pros
- Performance driven
- Compensation is linked to performance
- Open door policy
- Good working environment
- Flexible environment
Cons
I think this is very subjective. It will boil down to individual mindset. So far, it was all good & I would love to continue working with F&S again.
Advice to Senior Management
I do not think I am in the position to advise/comment. But would like to thanks the Management for grooming me.
Pros
It is a great company to work for if you have a go getter attitude. Especially, if you are working in a new region/office. Plenty of responsibility to be had if you want it.
Cons
I think the company needs to be more sensitive to the training needs of its employees. Also needs to articulate its selling proposition much better than it does right now.
Advice to Senior Management
It is a company that has grown faster than its systems and processes. So ensure that the rules do not take away the entreprenuerial spirit of functioning.
Pros
good starting point to market research
consulting is essentially doing customized market research
if you are desperate!
Cons
low intellectual abilities required
QA is terrible
market research and data accuracy unreliable
poor methodologies and frameworks
unprofessional and last minute
unorganized and somewhat less professional
and the list goes on...
Advice to Senior Management
Stop putting up the Blue Ocean Strategy slide and saying that Frost has differentiated it self to a research and consulting company. Comparing them to BCG/Bain/McL/Booz is like comparing crap and cream. It is disillusional and employees can see through that!
