Compensate your employees fairly
Pros
Nice people and laid-back atmosphere. Stable job. Senior management does not tend to lay off people easily. Not an agressive company overall.
Cons
Average or below average salary. Not too much training or career advancement opportunities.
Advice to Senior Management
Raise the salary! Or you'll keep losing people!
Pros
Fianncially stable; fair compensation; reasonable benfits; great people; good training programs; online training website; feedback requested annually; succesful company year after year.
Cons
vertical communication issues; inter-office communication issues; regional communication issues; very conservative; slow to respond to market changes, although this may be due to the sheer size of the company
Advice to Senior Management
The present communication programs, performance programs and the multitidue of communication enhancement programs need to be enacted more quickly. The conservative approach while financially successful may inhibit the attraction of new young professionals to the organization.

- Company suffers from a 70-ties type of management style.
- Salaries are poor.
Advice to Senior Management
opco management stays in position far too long, some general managers have been leading their particular opcos for over 20 years, resulting in stagnation and calcification, with little flexibility towards different management styles and challenges.

Family Oriented
Cons
There are no cons to working at Fugro.

Cons

Advice to Senior Management
More communication on strategy, paint the big picture
Pros
Fugro is an expanding company with lots of potential for growth. There is a great opportunity for networking with clients and companies who are serviced by Fugro. Fugro has offices all over the world, giving employees the opportunity to both travel throughout the world (all taken care of by the Fugro company), and provides the great opportunity to transfer to a separate office of Fugro if you'd like to do so. Each office or division has something different to offer, so in the event you'd like to change offices, or migrate professions, you can do so, all within the confines of the Fugro company.
Cons
As I, myself, have not been with Fugro for many years, I have not come across many downsides to the company. Perhaps one of its greatest strengths can also be counted as a weakness: As Fugro has offices all over the globe, it is sometimes necessary to travel to those different offices. While the opportunity for travel can seem glamorous, many trips to the UK, or other offices, can become a bit long and lonely. If you have family or loved ones at home, travel can become a bit of a nuissance. That, of course, is a minor complaint in a company that offers such a great opportunity.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior Management is quite impressive. They are always willing to helpout wherever they can, I have found. I have no complaints.
