I have been working at Fujitsu Australia (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Timely salary , strong operational team to follow up on timesheets.

    Cons

Fujitsu is a big group and this entity acts as a part of the group when it comes to applying policies on employees ( on paper). In reality most of the arrangements are based on the circumstances of the individual. Managers take full leverage and try to exploit where ever possible. It is more of a body shopping set up where people are hired/fired based on client needs.

I have been working at Fujitsu Australia full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Large company with the potiental to move around.

    Cons

Where do I start. The company doesn't recorgnize hard work and performance. It's almost impossible to get promoted as they prefer to consider external canidates. No teamwork, it's every man for himself. Very bad salaries. They expect way too much from their employees with minimal rewards or insentives. Close to no training or upskilling. Not given the proper tools/resources to complete our job.

    Advice to Management

The management team need to value good workers.

I have been working at Fujitsu Australia full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

5 years of my long career has ended and found a new already.. its sayonara to fujitsu, never ever

    Cons

Every engineer is living in fear, always worried and looking behind. GM says even he dont know they criteria for lay-off. You laid off about 300 people randomly but what was the reason. one of the worst management i have worked with in my life. bunch of bullies and egoistic people little care for hard working and technical competiant people but busy promoting their stupid buddies who ratting others out for their own promotion, trying to inform managers even when you joke of things are spoken for fun without hurting anyone. they are promoted to rat out people and those engineers often give wrong information and plagiarize other work while the manager knows but they wont do anything. my immediate manager is full of bs politics all day who said what how mins this guy and that guy was away how to take revenge, how to blame someone and how to run away when sht hits the fan. Employee survey are hogwash its for numbers on paper what looks good, zero improvement. Honest feedback was given by employee they come up with some yammer bullcrap which has zero productivity and looser are often posting random creeap on it with little or not value. If one guy i want to fire it will be my manager who is good for nothing, all day creates policy from thin air and randomly changes next day, beleives in documentation more than actual processs that helps work, will use words like sla, compliance, competience, review, HR, performance improvment plan, you lack professionial, make personal comments in meeting room, will call you for meeting with no notice. Guys make sure you record conversation on your personal phone they are in violation of worksafe policy at so many levels we had some great cases in sydney.

    Advice to Management

you are bunch of idiots, bullies and worst people learn how to manage. if the company goes down you are going down too. started happening alreay, they got rid off some manager even without knowing and today another upper manager last day.. sinking ship you are carry on Egoistic rusted bully managers take the ship down with you

I have been working at Fujitsu Australia full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The Desktop department culture is great, with good management and support. It's easy to talk to upper management, they're not on their high horse. Opportunities are there for those willing to prove themselves and putting their hands up

    Cons

Direction from CEO and EGM are backward thinking. All about cutting cost and driving moral and culture down. Too many processes/hoops to jump through for simple things because of cost High paying dinosaurs that were brought over that are comfortable and do not bring any value but are protected CEO and EGM's hiring friends/previous work colleagues that prove to be ship sinkers, shows where the company is heading Sales team selling services that don't exist in the BAU world

    Advice to Management

Focus more on customers and employee's rather than bean counting every penny while showing off the CEO's bike adventures overseas on the intranet.
