Pros – The company is fair and has some of the best talented person onboard. The leadership mentors you well for the project work. However promotion to the deserving person within the team depends on everything except your performance.
Cons – Work Life balance. Work extended hours on weekdays and weekends.
The manager expect you to do functional as well as technical work. Just one resource for everything !!
Advice to Senior Management – Give good training to the freshers before placing them in project.

Former Employee – worked at Fujitsu
Pros – Steady paycheck
401 K Match
Overall the company is fair to work for. But you should keep in mind that you can get laid off at any time.
Cons – No training
No pay increase
Too much travel
Be warned that if you want to work for Fujitsu, its more of a bodyshop.
Advice to Senior Management – I really don't know what to say. When you have bad decisions after bad decisions, then the only thing you can do is to start over.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Fujitsu
Pros – - Global Company
- Currently going through transformational changes and therefore can be placed in "high risk / high reward" category - depending on how the transition will turn out great opportunities may arise.
- Many great people to work with
Cons – It has been all about cost cutting lately and the company is still going through major transformations.
Advice to Senior Management – The cost-containment strategy should not be sweeping but more intelligent. Some very valuable resources are leaving because of the overall morale and no clear vision - those will be most difficult to replace.

Current Employee – been working at Fujitsu
Pros – Opportunity to be part of a developing company. Primary focus is in IT services. Can be part of a solution.
Cons – Not the employer for an individual that doesn’t welcome lots of change on the road to improvement. Self directed individuals fit best in the company.
Advice to Senior Management – Communication is key. Better to overdo it than leave people in the dark or wondering. During periods of change most function better knowing the company’s plans, strategy, successes and challenges.

Former Employee – worked at Fujitsu
Pros – The benefit package is excellent. Most of your colleagues are wonderful to work with as well.
Cons – They do not seem to have a strong direction currently. Changing to frequently and not doing it in a very organized manner.
Advice to Senior Management – Take the time to closely review the talent within the organization that can be advanced for the benefit of the company.

Former Employee – worked at Fujitsu
Pros – The salary and the vacation package are comparable to other company.
Cons – The management is lack of leadership, people skills/skills to manage their staff, and no team work which is I believe a necessary to a wor environment.
Advice to Senior Management – FMSA management needs to learn people skills to manage staff properly.

Former Employee – worked at Fujitsu
Pros – Small company environment allowing for diverse assignments to be undertaken and implemented. Good working environment with competent people performing at a high level.
Cons – Parent companies needed to pursue a different, more cooperative vision for the overall company to be competitive in a mature worldwide market
Advice to Senior Management – Joint venture subsequently bought out by one of the parent companies and subsidiary closed; so, prior management is no longer available to receive feedback

Former Employee – worked at Fujitsu
Pros – Great middle management and co-workers.
Cons – Consolidation of divisions currently causing lack of focus. Fujitsu America division shifting to more of a consulting lead organization with hardware drag. If you are focused on Enterprise product sales... consider another employer. If you are more focused on consulting services and can survive the current turmoil... probably a good place for you to land.
Advice to Senior Management – The shift to a consulting lead sales model will be viewed as a necessary adjustment. However, the consulting focus has significantly impacted any chance of being considered a significant hardware vendor in North America. Fujitsu Limited's requirements to dramatically increase their product sales will not occur with the confusion and uncertainty within the sales forces.

Former Employee – worked at Fujitsu
Pros – Working at fujitsu is a good experience if you want to balance your life & work with a decent pay and benefits
Cons – professionally the scope of growth is limited and the management style is not agressive and very stagnant. lot of que from the japan
Advice to Senior Management – fujitsu has a good compensation and benefits but a more agressive management with communication and transparent vision for the company will help.
