Former Employee - Facilities Manager in Lisbon (Portugal)

I worked at Fujitsu full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Top worldwide IT company, excellent access to top technologies and training, impeccable work ethics, knowledgeable colleagues with high levels of professionalism

    Cons

There aren't really any major cons, apart from maybe a certain lack of work-life balance among the top executives. But this happens almost everywhere anyway, so a great company to work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check more Fujitsu's top managers in Portugal, there are some irregularities and the company's ethos is not followed.

    Recommends

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative in Lisbon (Portugal)

I worked at Fujitsu full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

In an international environment you get to know a diverse mixture of colleagues from all over Europe. It is always refreshing to learn more about other cultures, countries and languages. The ingredients for a good working multinational are present.

    Cons

All strategic higher managing positions are occupied by and exclusively reserved for Portuguese and their friends and/or relatives, who are not necessarily competent. Only lower management has a handful of foreigners. As a result of this the work floor is not always well organised and resources are being wasted, accounts are being lost.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop seeing candidates with potential as a threat. The company will benefit more if you install a capable person rather than a friend or someone who simply won't contradict you.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

Current Employee - Service Controller in Lisbon (Portugal)

I have been working at Fujitsu full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

It is great to work for Fujitsu. The company standards and motivation, together with the salary and facilities, make it a wonderful place to work at.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the lower management (Team Managers and Operations' Managers) are often unskilled and corrupted, leading to an unsatisfactory work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More training for management as well as better assessment of manager's capabilities for the job.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
