Better stay away - lot of politics, no challenging work, overall very poor place to work.

    Pros

-Has okay benefits. -Holidays and vacations were good.

    Cons

-Extremely bad employee moral. -Lots of management here that's been here for decades (some of them a Quarter-century) and most are incompotent or clueless. -Horrible place for younger workers due to non-promotion of internal qualified candidates in favor of nepotism (which is rampant). -The most toxic work culture I've ever seen (turf wars, intimidation, widespread anger and frustration, bully style management who hire scapegoats, dysfunctional meetings, completely incompetent HR staff). -Overall this place is just awful and I would recommend you look elsewhere (especially if you are young).

    Advice to Management

This company does have the technology and key employees to make it an outstanding company, senior management and director levels are the issue. The company ran much better many years ago prior to the so-called leadership what is in place now.

    Pros

Excellent opportunities for outside vendors to make a fortune with incompotent Directors and Managers who don't know what they're doing and have excess budget to spend.

    Cons

Incompetent and self-serving leadership at the Director and Vice President levels. This place is a classic stovepipe organization. Ship is beginning to sink.

    Advice to Management

Stop stealing. Resign and leave - oh wait, no one will hire you.

    Cons

aside from decent compensation, there is absolutely nothing good about this company. leadership at director / VP and above know nothing to run business. they try to constantly change directions and thee is no vision. extremely low moral.

    Advice to Management

Rebuild leadership levels from Director , VP to top executives.

I have been working at Fujitsu Network Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Some friendly staff - Great PTO and time off - Nice cafeteria and gym

    Cons

    - New ideas get shot down, even when they promote their cultural changes - Staff gets laid off frequently, even if they claim it's "performance based" (these can also include new graduates) - Cannot retain younger generations - Expect two jobs to be done by one person - No real direction with where the company is going

    Advice to Management

Even though they are promoting cultural change, I have yet to see much change with how issues are handled. New management needs to be brought in, rather than laying off people who cannot reach outlandish demands of the company.

    Pros

Good benefits and adequate compensation. Occasionally interesting work, with some very capable colleagues. Great area to live.

    Cons

A lot of sustaining and cost reduction work, as telecom equipment has a long deployment life. Schedules are paramount, budget is inflexible, room for mistakes is non-existent. Inter-department contention can be something to behold. Intra-department contention can be even worse. Cost containment has gone too far, to the point of costing more in low productivity and low cooperation. See above.

    Advice to Management

Good products sell themselves. Take the time to make them. Moving the marketing exec away from product development was a good start.

    1. compensation was decent 2. enjoyed the industry 3. benefits were excellent..including health plan 4. clients were high powered for movement after Fujitsu

    Cons

    1. senior management not organized and unable to hold HR/Employment promises 2. professional growth was lacking at fujitsu. 3. not a lot of job growth/promotions internally

    Advice to Management

Mainly do what you say and offer to your employees. Offer professional development to your employees and try to keep them around.
