Advice to Senior Management
The people on the ground floor are the people who make your business work. The people on the ground floor are your only point of contact with your customers. Respect them and recognise their talent and skills.
Pros
There are some good and intelligent people working in the company.
Cons
The HR function, appraisals, general policies towards employees, pay are just rubbish.
Advice to Senior Management
20 to 1 ratio!!!
Pros
The opportunities for advancement seemed very open. My coworkers we smart and competent.
Cons
Communication from management was lacking. When reviews were given to immediate managers from the Quality Assurance department, it would take several weeks for that information to make it to the employees, thus leaving a gap between feedback given and changes to be made. This created a loophole where mistakes were unable to be corrected in a timely fashion thus putting the work of the employee in jeopardy.
Advice to Senior Management
Better communication between the employees and managers is a must. Withholding information from employees when it comes to performance improvement not only hurts the employee's ability to grow but also hurts Fujitsu's reputation with their customer (A&F in this case).
Pros
- Work life balance.
- Ability to do your own thing
Cons
- Not structured
-Doesn't understand the market
Advice to Senior Management
- IT service is complicated, simple answer won't work, need to work through complex detail to make rational decisions.
Pros
Reasearch
Trying new products
Great colleagues to work with
Cons
less salary
less growth
does not belong for IT
Advice to Senior Management
must improve IT department. Should be given a fair chance
Pros
Leadership chances and ability to travel globally. World changing technology
Cons
Poor pay and less focused training in finance and operations
Advice to Senior Management
Train back office to create global leaders
Pros
good for entry level folks to learn basics; multi-cultural environment; freedom of time management; competetive payscale; opportunities to learn in diferent areas of IT / Business.
Cons
lack of processes; roles and responsibilities not defined; lack of direction and oversight from senior management; scope of work not clearly defined
Advice to Senior Management
Major reorganisation and restructuring required from top to bottom; senior management to provide effective leadership and setup clearly defined roles, reponsibilities and processes.
Pros
For the same level of competency, the salary range for the employee is considered higher than other similar company in Indonesia. Quality of the deliverable/outputs are always top priority, even at the cost of less profitability.
Cons
You have to always work overtime to complete your tasks, and the tasks are always piled up on top of other tasks. It seems that you will never have time to take a breath.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop treating your employee like machine and robots which has to do tasks upon tasks, which makes them have no time to balance their life.
Pros
The bonuses that they give are good on top of the 13th month bonus. Understandable manager. Training given with no bond. They promote work-life balance.
Cons
A bit disorganized because of lack in process and it's not easy to transfer in a different department. Basic salary is not as competitive as other big Systems Integration companies.
Advice to Senior Management
It would be better if there are established processes in place to make things easier and more orderly. Promote leadership development and training.
Pros
They take care about moving/accommadation intially ina new job.
Cons
The pay is not fair.It depends on your bargaining talent.
Advice to Senior Management
Take care the people who are making money to the company. Not the recruiters!
