    Pros

    Friendly working environment
    Good work-life balance
Some great people to work with
Opportunity to work on some very large UK projects
    Technology \ IT focused company

    Cons

Pay rates might not be the highest for long serving staff
Lots of public sector work - although big push into private sector

    Advice to Management

Review market rates for existing staff - not just new recruits
Plan better to avoid an influx of contractors on all new projects

Not what they appear to be, this title relates to their subsidiary FSESL

    Pros

On line basic courses available, opportunity to meet and learn from older workers, ideal for graduates and/or people still living at home who want a start in IT.

    Cons

Exploitative contracts, Low pay, no sick pay, no pension contribution, no overtime, no bonus structure, no KPI's, no mid to longterm career path, no formalised bonus structure, apathetic management, misleading of candidates at interview as to true pay scales, failure to meet promises, extensive delays in expense claims. Extremely high attrition rates,

    Advice to Management

Start treating employees with respect by paying a living wage, be honest at job interviews as to the true earning potential, and stop exploiting vulnerable workers.

    Pros

Interesting work with pretty good remuneration. A generally open and supportive environment.

    Cons

I was driven crazy by a micro manager who, despite my experience and good reviews, couldn't let me just get on with my job. He is the only reason I left. I was otherwise pretty happy.

    Advice to Management

Before I worked for this manager, every person I knew who already worked for him was unhappy with the way they were being treated and not afraid to say so to me. Please try to listen to this kind of feedback, I would still be with Fujitsu if I hadn't been moved on to his team.

    Advice to Management

The best way to ensure personnel put the customer first is for the company to put its own personnel first.

    Pros

Pension, er, fast progression but that's because everyone leaves.. That's it

    Cons

the pay, the management, the attitude, the way the company is run, everything! I remember standing up once only to be told to sit down as we arnt allowed to, yeah... It got that bad and controlling! You could have more fun in a prison, not allowed to read the paper if nothing to do, not allows our phones, only have 40 mins a month excluding breaks to go to the toilet when working, 70 calls a day most days and being that busy you can't Have a sip of water between calls. The pay is shocking, if you did the same job anywhere else you would be shocked when you see what they pay at Fujitsu, 1st line support (that hire people who don't know what a printer toner is, in a computer help desk) 16000, assistant manager, 18000 and same for 2nd line (who by the way don't know what third doing with no exp or qualifications and break everything all the time hence the 70 calls a day) 18000, managers, 23000 and so on. They truly believe that you don't need to know about computers to work on this help desk, it's a joke. I felt like the only one who knew anything. I had a customer in the phone who had an issue with their my documents and mentioned that it was a file format of ntfs, file structure right? I call Whats called the high performance team who are there to apply fixes and help if your stuck, they had no idea what the heck ntfs stood for let alone what it was, I could be here all day! Place needs shutting down and their contact taken away from then.

    Advice to Management

Close the company and start again? No wonder the company nearly went under! It's run by idiots.

    Pros

People are friendly and competent below senior management. Too many offices but one of them is bound to be close to home !

    Cons

No pay rises, no ethnic or cultural diversity, a leadership team full of yes men who follow Duncan Tait blindly into oblivion more worried about their extortionate salaries and devoid of any brain power or backbone I'm surprised they can stand up at all.

    Advice to Management

Tokyo, you need a new EMEAI leadership team quickly !

    Pros

    Some good people
    The company could be great
    Lots of offices
    Lots of scope to improve
    Cheap coffee

    Cons

The company has no global business model so offerings are all local and sub scale. The Japanese parent is very insular and doesn't understand what is going on outside Japan

With maybe 1 exception the executive team are all long term Fujitsu people who have no idea what a successful IT business looks like

The company is mighty confused about what it is. Tries to do everything but ends up not being market leading at anything

It's main business is low value commodity work such as deskside support

It is hugely political, management spend all their time internally and have no concept of customers being at the centre of the business.

Only just realised that offshore exists

It has no diversity. It's full of grey middle aged men and hardly and ethnic mix at all

    Advice to Management

Shake up the leadership team with people who know how to run a top class IT services company

Work out what you are famous for

Fix the website. It says it all!

    Pros

Variety, you can get to work on some good projects with good technology. Some of the people at Fujitsu are very good. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

Lack of pay rise. Below market rate pay. Can be very stressful at times with lack of consideration of the employee.

    Advice to Management

There should be some incentive to develop and reward the best achievers. I have been stuck in the same position for the last 8 years with little increase in remuneration despite (I think) doing quite a good job. There seems to be little incentive to move forward as there is minimal reward for greater responsibility and the extra hard work. Those that have put in the extra hard work have seen little back which has left them with poor morale and little reason to continue working at that level.
