I have been working at Future Technologies as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

A good place to try for entry level. If you want to have an insight into the recruiting in a consulting company as well as the IT consulting industry, it can be a choice. Their HR manager is very helpful. People there are very energetic and resourceful.
FTI is expanding its business. If you can do a good job and show your potential, you are likely to become a regular employee there.

    Cons

This is an unpaid internship. You may need to balance your work between HR and some other functions.

I worked at Future Technologies as an intern

    Pros

    Hands on guidance during tasks.

    Cons

Most are unpaid internships. The company will take advantage with hours being donated. FTI is a growing company with a lot of potential but never apply for an internship- better luck just applying for a paid job with a salary (no difference between hours and tasks) the company expects full-time hours without any compensation. DO NOT donate any extra hours than what is expected from a college internship. If they like you they should pay- don't "bite the bullet" until they decided when to pay you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be cheap and pay your interns.

I worked at Future Technologies full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Only if you have no other choice.

    Cons

Company offered no assistance in a demanding environment. They existed only to make money off me and offer nothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start acting like human beings. I see why others quit ASAP. If your employees need assistance, help them. No one can do everything entirely by themselves. Act like co-workers and not exploiters.
