Pros – You can make a difference in the outcome of the company and share in the rewards.
Cons – At times, communication can be confusing and disfunctional.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep listening to the employees.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – High competency of employees with varied skills. Most employees have over ten years or more experience. Company offers up to 6 percent matching of 401k benefits and gives a bonus to employees on positive earnings.
Cons – Poorly managed, micro managed
Public company basically privately owned
Employees are not considered one of their major investments
Safety and safe practices have declined
Diversity of workforce is poor
No retirement package except through matching of 401k benefits
Employs too many family members outside normal hiring channels
Senior management has very little interaction with community
Advice to Senior Management – Hiring only "like-minded" people will only carry you so far. Only short-term results will be realized.
