    Pros

    Success of their business model
    Culturally diverse
    Bonus driven

    Cons

Company values practically not existent, promotions are not based on merit but "who belongs to the club"
Executive level lacks of civilization, respect and diplomacy. HR calls it "G-III Managerial Style"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have the executive level attend cultural sensitivity / behavioral training classes once a year to keep them in touch with their culturally diverse environment.
**Intimidating management styles across executive level causes a nervous unproductive employee

I worked at G-III Apparel as an intern

    Pros

Prestigious company and labels such as Calvin Klein. Easy commute from anywhere, right between Times Sq and Penn Station on Fashion Ave. Learn a lot about the fashion industry and get to intern in a lot of different departments. Work with important buyers from Sak's Fifth Ave, Macy's, etc.

    Cons

Company culture is very Devil Wears Prada. Compensation often very low because of competitive fashion industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees like people and increase communication. Try to weed out the gossip and negativity.

I worked at G-III Apparel full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Upper management is cutthroat, but the rest of the staff is nice to work with. If you get employed directly by them, it's a good place to work. If you get employed as a result of a merger, start looking for a new job.

    Cons

Company tends to expand by acquisition and then get rid of most inherited employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat new, inherited people with more respect.

    Pros

Great relationship with coworkers. Learned a lot about all aspects of garment manufacturing.
