Pros
the closeness between adjusters, sharing of ideas regarding insurance policies, great company for you to grow with, credible and knowledgable colleagues, managing own work time and balancing between travelling and working and at the same time visiting sites for evaluation. Presence of subject matter experts increases your experience.
Cons
Sometimes, too many cases were given to the adjusters and balancing between travelling and completing the reports according to the timelines are quite challenging.

Advice to Senior Management
Problem Solving in current Market place.
Pros
GAB Robins has a rich history in its field. They are an honest company. I had several positions in the company. Some of the negative comments written in other reviews are laughable and untrue.
Cons
For various reasons, some beyond the control of the company, There are some financial issues in the past few years. It is a smaller business. Overseas subsidiaries were sold. There is a big challenge in how to run a company with 50 state coverage with a large overhead, in a shrinking market. There are people working at the company that do not appreciate what they have.
Advice to Senior Management
Consider revamping internal workflow in the Finance Department. Try to foster more cooperation, less turf wars.
Pros
Salaries are competitive, easy to get by without working. If you are in favor you can do anything you want. People can work here for decades and do nothing if you know the right person.
Cons
Management changes every few years and the latest is the worst ever. A chairman that litetrally does nothing. He does not have one document on his company PC. A figurehead that does not get along with the rest of management. He is being paid millions for nothing.
Advice to Senior Management
Hire some business development experts. Trim the bloated Finance area. Stop milking the company. Do not cut hours of full time employees in order to make them part time, do not cut benefits, Do not expect 37 hours for for 29. Resign.
Pros
In the Technology division all of the managers (3) have a High School education and have only worked at GAB Robins for the last 20 years. Not much going on as far as innovation. so, it is easy to look smart but looking smart is a big threat to management.
Cons
The atmosphere on the first floor is similar to a high school. There is a lot of bullying going on.
Advice to Senior Management
Start from scratch. Need major overhaul here.
