Pros
Lots of variety day to day, lots of interaction with my employees at different levels. Freedom to move around between different facilities, not strapped to a desk all day. Responsibility for many areas, not much interaction with my Regional Manager which is a very good thing.
Cons
Upper management is extremely tight with bonuses. The bonus structure is complicated and very few people ever qualify. A coworker of mine earned a considerably high bonus, but instead of paying it out in one check, senior management decided to break it down and give her a salary increase over two years. That's wrong!
Advice to Senior Management
Loosen the purse strings
Pros
Good people that you work with that are your peers and people that are under you. Managers do not come see you that much at your site. The accounts that you work with are great and you get to meet great people. I think that was the best part of the job working with other people from other places of business. If you are good at your job you can also do a lot of traveling with this company. This was fun for me because I love to travel and they pay for everything.
Cons
I hate to say this but I think the company likes to recruit mainly hispanic people and does not care to have upper level managers as whites. I worked there for three years and worked very hard for the company and it is sad that some people cant get over there ego when it comes to certain things.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what you are doing I will tell you this what goes around will always come back to reward or bite you.
