    I was working at a high school where working with other workers on my shift ,also the staff and security were all professional and courtesy.

    Cons

    At the time there was no sick time ,holiday time,and raises.

    I have been working at GCA Services for more than 3 years

    Pros

    It pays more than minimum wage. There are always sufficient supplies and they provide good tools to get the work done.

    Cons

    Hours! They'll cut your hours around every holiday "because the work load is lighter." Um... What?!? That is the WORST time to cut hours! It's pretty clear they don't care about the little worker bees. Even though we run efficiently, we never receive any praise outside of our account manager. They (regional managers etc.) like to claim they're going to throw us a pizza party (told us this 3 times). We've had exactly zero. Who cares, but don't lie to us. It's terribly unprofessional and disrespectful.

    Cutting hours around the holidays is quite honestly one of the dirtiest moves you can make. Your "lowly" employees struggle enough already, but to take away hours around the holidays is downright cruel. If you can't figure out a way to run smoothly without cutting your employees' hours, maybe you need to reevaluate the skills and knowledge of those running your business.

    The money is good, and most of the people you work with are great people.

    Cons

    Leadership, little room for advancement unless you are in sales or operations, no standard operating platform for such a large company.

    Treat your employees with respect. Encourage, teach, be compassionate. Listen to ideas that aren't your own. Develop policies and adhere to them in call instances.

    a lot of work but we work together to get it done,very disorganized asking employees to clean sporting events and not paying any overtime we used to get paid for them when the county had us

    I give 100 percent on every job friendly very alert always early to work and when something new comes my way I learn very quick

    The opportunity to work with individuals who are incredibly gifted in what they do. Salary is very competitive.

    Cons

    CEO is hostile, exclusive. There is no positive feedback - you only hear it when something goes wrong.

    I worked at GCA Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    GCA contract out laborers to PPG Aerospace in this area. I went to them looking for a job and they called me within a week. The people I worked with were really nice and training was simple. The jobs itself are simple. Sometimes you get to work weekends.

    Cons

    It's a labor job so the pay is low. They operate quickly so if they call you, you have to be ready to get to work or you'll miss the opportunity. Don't think that if you work for GCA you may get hired on at PPG Aerospace. Sometimes you work weekends.

    Pros

    Keeps me moving around. Lost weight while on the job. Gives full time hours.

    Cons

    The pay. Get paid minimum wage while every other place that does this work pays significantly more. Also not being allowed to talk to the students or anybody in particular make me feel like a robot rather than a person.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Compensation needs to be higher and raises need to be given if you wish to keep employees and have lower turn over rates. Also hire some people that speak English.
