I have been working at GE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You are always encouraged to achieve more. Fast-paced and dynamic. Truly international and multicultural. Great benefits. There are plenty of opportunities if you are hard-working and driven.

    Cons

Work-life balance is more theoretical than realistic. GE's way of working is not for everybody. You need to run your own PR campaign in parallel to your daily job. Probably the worst HR department I have dealt with in my working life.

  2. Good if you are at the top, but very top heavy

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at GE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very good at providing opportunities to work across the organisation

    Cons

If you are not at the top then don't expect any bonuses. The Officers of the company act like gods looking down on the minions.

    Advice to Management

    Remember your roots

  3. Stressful, long hours, minimal help provided... but fun
