    Fast Paced Environment

    Technical Coop (Current Employee)
    Louisville, KY

ProsThis job is not very stressful. You can learn a lot and a lot of good people to work with. A lot is changing and the new proposed First Build is bringing a lot of attention. Good people to work with and a changing company. Process in designing appliances is quick and fun to be working on a quick paced team.

ConsSome of the work is not very technical. Too many reviews required to pass design changes.

Good place to work , then one day the axe just fell...

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsSome truly awesome and amazing people work here who genuinely care about other people and getting everyone to work together as a team to succeed.

ConsDuring promotional windows it was do or die on almost every program and pet project dreamed up by management. If you weren't able to sign up key customers, you were then moved to a target list and labelled as an "underachiever" who needed to be put on a performance improvement plan and quickly shown the door.

Advice to Senior ManagementCongrats on driving your stars out the door and into the arms of your competition!

Not what you would think it would be for a company that size

    Distributor Solutions Specialist (Current Employee)
    Richmond, VA

ProsWork with some nice people, nice office environment

ConsSalaries are much lower than comparable work at other large companies and in the years I have been with the company, the benefits are not that great. Several managers and other employees have all come from the same employer, and the management really has no idea how the business really works. Some management definitely has favorites, as to some things that employees are allowed to do with no repercussions but if others did the same they would be out the door

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to really learn the business and understand the jobs well enough that they could do them if they had to, stop playing favorites and come through with rewarding those who put forth the extra efforts.
