Pros
A great opportunity if you take advantage of all of the resources, committees, and networks.
Cons
As an intern, I had to search for work at times.
Advice to Senior Management
Speed up the process of getting started/gaining access.
Pros
Friendly work environment where management is involved with your work and progress. Very helpful to co-ops and interns and allow us to learn a lot about the company.
Cons
Healthcare plans have really degraded recently.
Pros
The compensation is terrific and the working conditions are very good. They are very flexible with working hours and leaving early/coming in early if the need arises.
Cons
If you are not an engineer, this place is not for you. The opportunity for advancement is so small without an engineering background. They have engineers running their whole supply chain. This provides many issues.
Pros
Huge company if you're into that. Great globalization as you may talk to people in Poland in the Morning then people in Mexico in the aternoon.
Cons
Huge company and it seems like HR is difficult about giving raises. Globalization and outsourcing of engineering work is rampant.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your engineers with more priority. They are the backbone of the company and may be considerably undervalued, and more so when you outsource engineering jobs.
Pros
Someone is always there to pick up your slack
Cons
You have to pick up other people's slack
Advice to Senior Management
equalize salaries based on level and performance. Don't always use percentages as your basis for increases.
Pros
Great people, potential and growth.
Opportunities for personal/professional development
A fabulous environment to work in.
Cons
Not the best pay in the sector
A little bureaucratic and slow to get things done.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep investing in people.
Pros
Great people, willing to help you out on any project given. Mentor program helps to acclimate new personnel into the workplace
Cons
Aviation is a roller coaster for an industry so the hiring is sometimes methodical. Sometimes quarterly crunch can get very stressful.
Advice to Senior Management
Management always seem to be delegating, which is good in itself, but sometimes it gets a bit to convoluted to get the job done the best way
Pros
Great company to work for...people are awesome.
Cons
Health Benefits are not very wholesome
