Current Employee – been working at GE Healthcare full-time for more than a year
Pros – Flexible Working Hours
Strong processes
Care for employees safety and health concerns
Cons – Lot of manual documentation work
Mostly maintenance work
Very slow work progress due to FDA regulatory compliance issues. Always used as excuse when employees suggest to improve things here.
Hiring criteria very strong, not so in actual work. I was lured into the job by wrong JD and very strong technical interview. Out of two years, I have spent 1.5 years in Manual Testing. BTW, they hired me as a strong C++ developer. A recently hired contractor also resigned from his parent company due to same problem. He had to leave his parent company because it was not possible to change the project immediately and future was bleak here.
Advice to Senior Management – Please do not overkill in the name of process enforcement
Give actual picture of the work. The JD of the opening should be according to the real requirements.

Current Employee – been working at GE Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – If you are looking to settle down in a company and not to worry much on money. This is the ideal company. Work is not too hectic. Sometimes when there is pressure u need to anyways.
Cons – Lot of old people staying in company, do not allow newbies to come up.
Advice to Senior Management – Look at the salary part. And managers please its time now to leave groupism. And HR looks like under control of managers. No use for any escalations. It bounces back.
