Pros
More work than engineers;
So the more you want to do, the more you'll have on your plate
Cons
Very management heavy
3 to 1 ratio of engineers to managers
Normal Politics of a publicly traded company
Advice to Senior Management
Get involved technically instead of just pushing a schedule that was created when the details weren't on the plate yet.

Pros
There is more work than people so you get an opportunity to do many things
Cons
Management just push schedules without thought to quality of product or amount of personal needed.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay attention to the people doing the work and not people just playing the political game
