    Pros

Environment which rewards high performers with more responsibility. High level of access to senior management. True meritocracy

    Cons

Deals are often oversold, placing the delivery team in a challenging position. Work life balance is promoted but at certain accounts there is not a proper balance

    Advice to Management

Keep the strong growth trajectory going, but don't do so at the expense of your employees

    Pros

GEP is a company that has made a lot of strides in the past few years. I have been with the firm for over 4 years and when I started GEP was not nearly as mature and stable as they are now.

Many of these reviews came from the time when GEP was still finding its way, developing internal best practices and building out a benefits. compensation and work structure that is now starting to pay dividends. This was a natural part of the process, being in the late stages of a startup and early stages of its growth phase. Pay and benefits are competitive, work-life balance has greatly improved, and GEP is taking seriously diversity initiatives and quality of life initiatives that have been largely successful.

GEP has also been very successful recently in landing blue chip and Fortune 500 clients at a fast pace. They are carving out a strong niche to operate in with the acquisitions and consolidations of procurement and supply chain consulting/services in the past few years, and it is starting to grant significant returns to the quality of the company.

    Cons

As with any company still in its growth phase, there's always room for improvement in internal processes, which are quickly being improved and developed. They also tend to slightly less for entry-level hires.

    Advice to Management

Be more generous to offers with entry level hires. They will be your company's leadership in the not too distant future. Continue developing more robust internal processes to ensure employees remain engaged and motivated.

    Cons

Be prepared to step outside your comfort zone and often - this company intends to develop leaders and the "best of the best" in procurement.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Have to train yourself while management works against you. The management is far too inexperienced to offer any useful help.

    Cons

If you speak up they go out of their way to try to fire you. On this project that lasted 9 months the management team burned through 14 employees - hired and fired (a few quit). It's not the work or the client being difficult - it is the people managing the project that do not have a clue.

    Advice to Management

Find people with real world experience to manage your projects.

    Pros

The great thing about GEP is the vast amount of knowledge you have at your disposal. The company is still relatively new; you cannot compare it to one that has been in existence for over 50-100 years. There is room for growth if you work at it. If you are looking for a normal 9-5 where you can get away with doing the bare minimum, this company is not for you.

    Cons

At times the clients set unrealistic expectations, but management will do whatever it takes to meet it; including working long hours over the weekend.

Very competitive salary at all levels

    Cons

maybe not necessarily a con but you definitely have to be willing to work hard, invest of yourself and be career focused
need to always deliver consistent results
