    Pros

I have been working at Gabriel and Co. for a little while now and I am not sure what all of the negative reviews are referring to. The office is AMAZING. There is so much space and you definitely cannot beat the atmosphere of the office. I love how family-oriented the company is. The brothers treat everyone fairly and truly value their employees. They look at their employees as family and anytime someone leaves they are truly affected by it. There is definitely growth opportunity in the company. Lastly, everyone is so welcoming, from the brothers, to the managers/supervisors, and employees. When you work here you truly feel apart of a family.

    Cons

The brothers and managers/supervisors really expect a lot out of their employees and admire hard work, dedication, and loyalty. If you do not value these same things and not willing to go above and beyond for the company to strive then this may not be the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Continue to treat employees like family and the loyalty to this company will remain.

    Pros

You will learn many different software programs that typically do not function well that will eventually become obsolete with a new program that does not work. Friendship and great co-workers make it a less toxic environment.
Excellent quality product when produced correctly

    Cons

Little to sub par benefits. No communication between departments. No accountability. The pay scale is at at a minimum 20% less than average for similar position.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees and they will produce. They are adults with lives and families outside of work and deserve to enjoy their jobs but working here makes it not possible.
Stop writing false reviews. The turnover of staff speaks for itself.

    Pros

Management wants to grow the company with the same amount of people. There is a big opportunity to learn a lot, since there is a lot in one's plate. Happy hour events - enjoy until the CEO figures he is spending too much money on beer and chips.

    Cons

Benefits: Low pay, low bonus (if not in sales department your annual bonus will be an AMEX gift card for $100-$500 on Christmas, depending on the position), no 401K match, avg. health benefits, long working hours, no respect for work-life balance.
Environment: You feel like you are working in a "reality show": too much office politics within departments and between departments. You can hear CEO and Vice President (who are brothers) hysterically yelling at each other every once in a while. Fun to watch, until you get in trouble - and it is very likely for any reason. They don't have respect to anyone. Very high employee turnover especially in sales.
Management: Very demanding... They pressure to reach their unrealistic targets.

    Advice to Management

Come down to earth for God's sake! There are a lot of functional, structural problems and you are running excellence seminars.
Don't forget that your employees are also humans with lives, families, children. Signing people's pay check doesn't mean you own them. They don't have to do overtime for free or answer unimportant calls from you at 1 AM.

    Pros

Pretty jewelry; employees to commiserate with/learn from.

    Cons

    salary- low
    Benefits- poor
    401k- none
leadership- if turnover weren't so terrible, there would be great leadership, however, there is nothing keeping good leaders in this environment or operation for long. Those that have been at the company for a long time are either family or of same culture(turkish); mostly the production team since they could never be the face of the company.
production team- terrible to work with; condescending is protocol and not interested in making improvements. terrible at communication.
owners are happy with a blind/biased perspective of business doing well by having industry presence. They do not evaluate the success of their business by the happiness of their employees. Screaming and yelling is a real thing.

    Advice to Management

Get consultants to do an in-depth analysis of operations and production. Take the criticism at face value and fix your company to save your reputation.

    Pros

It's a job and most employees are pretty damn awesome

    Cons

Con... You have people in high positions who can't spell (The current Controller is a great example) the hours are long 8:30am-5:30pm, you have to take your vacations in July and December (mandatory.. And super expensive) and the pay SUCK! They rarely give raises and no increases, not even for the cost of living!. They base who gets what raise on who can suck up to the CEO the most! There is no employee appreciation! Oh the turn over is ridiculous, in a company of about 100 employees less than 10 have been there for more 5 years! and last but not least they are always preaching about "high integrity" but lack greatly in that department! One company internal investigation would back me up on that.. anyways! Thank you God for taking this weigh off my shoulders!

    Advice to Management

Next time you decide to fire an employee make sure it isn't the one who YOU asked to write the good reviews on here!

    Pros

The office was relocate to a new space. Office is very nice, modern and spacious. This establishment has very nice showroom. Some co-workers are great!

    Cons

People who start usually leave within a year. Management does not follow corporate protocol and fells free to yell and scream, that is inappropriate in a corporate environment. HR is useless, and does not support workforce only the management. Bonus, they overcomplicate the evaluations in order to minimize or down right avoid paying out a bonus. You are forced to take mandated vacations during the time that the company is closed.

    Advice to Management

Change your corporate environment, let me correct myself; create a corporate environment. Also please keep the positive review a bit more realistic.

    Pros

Beautiful office space, coworkers are amazing

    Cons

Extremely long hours, no work and life balance!!! I'm sure to become the old lady with a bunch of cats. The owners consistently argue and there is no structure in receiving raises, so why am I here? I love my coworkers and it's impossible to interview for other positions with the hours worked at Gabriel and Co!

    Advice to Management

Give your employees a raise! And stop forcing HR to write good reviews. You wouldn't have that issue if you treated everyone fairly and came up with a solid structure

    Pros

    You quickly learn survival skills.

    Cons

There is absolutely no work/life balance. The demands are completely unrealistic/your output is never enough yet you are't given the resources to do your job properly. Yelling and intimidation are accepted management methods. You have to beg for your raises or to receive any of your position benefits. The turnover is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Stop forcing your human resources department to post positive company reviews.

    Its near some good restaurants

    Cons

The two brothers have screaming fights with each other, one runs manufacturing, one runs sales. The first brother will tell you to do something, and then you get in trouble from the other brother for doing it. they cram you into little spaces, Also, when they saw the 4 bad reviews they got, the owner had the HR guy, and 2 managers write the glowing reviews you see now. Look at them, would anyone really say this stuff, and no cons?
