Pros – Laid back atmosphere, great co workers, reasonably thought out technological infrastructure. Open door policy, understanding of company's strength and how to make the most of it.

Cons – Instability due to acquisition and re-organization. Static business model, riding on past success without significant innovation. Narrow experience on the part of much of the technical staff.

Advice to Senior Management – Stop allowing the company to be treated as a cash cow to be passed around on the balance sheet. Look at how existing capabilities can open doors to innovation.

Pros – Some travel benefits, Work from home in some positions.

Cons – Management issues, the travel business is not all that great in a tough economy!

Advice to Senior Management – Communication, communication, communication. Don't let your senior members go when you have limited knowledge resources.
