I have been working at Gap part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hours are great! And the entire staff is amazing to work with. Everyone is like family. The pay for me is great!

    Cons

They enforce the minor restrictions. I am 17 soon to be 18 in 3 months and have been working there since I was 16!

    Advice to Management

Upgrade the terminals so that customers can input their own email address and speed up the registers.

I worked at Gap (More than a year)

    Pros

There were pretty good benefits including the employee discount, a large selection of clothing, and a lot of training about the product

    Cons

The main issue for me moving to a flagship store was the demand that they put on part time workers. I was schedule for 25-30 hours when I only have enough availability for 15-20.

I have been working at Gap part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have had a wonderful experience working for Gap, Inc. Even working a separate full time job, I have continued working for Gap because I am able to maintain a flexible schedule, the pay rate is above the national average, and the benefits are fantastic (401K, holiday pay, excellent company discount)!

    Cons

During slow times, shifts are limited. Corporate policy doesn't always fit with local needs.

    Advice to Management

Local management does a great job; district management and above can be difficult.
