Like the environment and people. Benefits are great. Managers are not exceed 40 hours per week. They are very good in meal compliance such as 15 minute breaks within a 5 -hour shift.

    Cons

Depending on business determines the hours the store gets. Also depends on work load as new merchandise comes in. Gap credit cards is big and a requirement.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

    Liked my co-workers and manager
Hours were good and they were patient and accepting of time off needed for surgery

    Cons

Management seemed to have some issues with decisions that corporate was making
Seemed to get stuck at one position on the sales floor for months at a time, regardless of seniority or experience

    Advice to Management

Don't let one manager display preferences and prejudices against certain employees, happened multiple times with multiple employees all from the same manager

    Pros

Very good pay compared to clothing industry. Good benefits such as PTO and insurance along with 401k. Full timers start off with 4 weeks pto per year and can earn up to 6 weeks per year after 10 years of service.

    Cons

Upper field leaders struggle putting the right product in stores along with the right amount of product. Constantly changing upper field leaders and structure. Closing stores and not giving reasons even though they are performing well.

    Advice to Management

Get the right trend of product. Listen to the Field Mangers.
