    Good colleagues, above average salary

    Cons

    Too much work for per head. Salary increments are a joke. Promotions are almost non existent.

    Pros

    A good training ground to put to use in a future job with their competitors.

    Cons

    Lack of progressive career opportunities available for most. If you are favored, then the sky is the limit. Seem to take it personally when someone leaves - especially senior management. Lack support of the average worker to grow them to be better employees.

    Advice to Management

    Front line workers are your bread and butter. Treat them better. Don't continue to treat people as if they don't matter.

    Pros

    - Work is always fast paced and different every day - The managers are not over bearing on their employees - Good Industry to work in

    Cons

    - A lot of emails sent out randomly with no regard to the correct person who should be answering them - Management only communicates with employees when there is problems

    Advice to Management

    Please keep and a short and long term vision of the company. Also, please know what is going on your facilities that are far away. I am not convinced mgt has a clue

    Pros

    It was well known that GDT was a leader in its field and has been a nice place to work over the years. The workforce has historically been very, very stable. That showed that GDT was indeed a good place to work. Management gave employees support in medical emergencies.

    Cons

    No employee wellness program to speak of. Also, there was no formal training programs until recently.

    Advice to Management

    Training programs for sales personnel and for mid-level and upper management would benefit the company.I would also establish an employee wellness program.
