    Pros

Competitive pay. Depending on the job, some flexibility and opportunity for growth. Unique work experience.

    Cons

Management not always open to ideas. Certain members of management can be belittling in their conversation (though their intention is good).

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. Promote a culture where team members who actually do the job can share their ideas on making the work process more efficient.

    Pros

This is a real-time business. The airline industry as a whole is all based in real-time, decisions you make in a meeting today will be rolled out in the units across the country overnight.
This pace brings out people's true colors, if you have the skills, knowledge and competency to get the job done, you will get promoted before you get a raise. Its just that kind of industry.
You will get 18 months worth of experience in 6 months' time. You will also get 18 months worth of wins/losses, which is why people get promoted quickly or wash out quickly.
This place is not for the faint of heart, its for the champions.

    Cons

Supporting a 24-hour operation at airports means you might have to come to work on days where schools are out for snow.
Medical benefits are competitive, but the focus here is on pay and opportunity. If you want great benefits at you might want to go work for a government and sacrifice career growth and your paycheck.

    Advice to Management

This is a difficult industry, but you guys make it fun. Lets have more office events, sports related and off site.

Management is uneducated and unable to run the business without extreme difficulties. They are not prepared for change

If you are looking for a Frontline employee job it is good and the work is not too difficult. As a leader steer clear of this company

    Pros

They have free lunch. They wash your uniform. They pay for your uniform and work shoes after 90 days. They have a union.

    Cons

They completely lie to you in your interview andorientation. They arevery miss leading. You work in very cold temperature. The hours are extremely long. You are expected to do more and more and more. The job is not worth the pay. And it is the hard place to get to if you are using public transportation.

    Advice to Management

Be more forth coming in interview and orientation.

    Pros

Learn all you can from as many managers as you can, nothing really formal in place in terms of a template.
Promotions take time, at times are subjective, but not impossible.

    Cons

You are in control of your own growth, benefits are bare bone, and no salary increases have been in place in years.

    Advice to Management

Recognize, train and acknowledge employees who really move the numbers and get the job done, not just the new hires.
