    Pros

Good company to work for overall. Great experience working at such a large property. Very nice hotel.

    Cons

Union environment. Did not get much support from HR. Shop stewards were TERRIBLE. Have worked in other union environments and it was nowhere near as bad as this place!

    Advice to Management

Have a backbone in regards to the union. Couldn't believe how much they got away with. There were a few that were worse than others, but most were bad.

    Pros

Hotel Benefits at 4 large hotels

    Cons

No definition for what job we are doing. Had to support guests at the hotels with no contact from the hotel IT staff about special arrangements if any for groups or guests.

    Advice to Management

They are no longer managing hotels.

    Pros

Great team environment, with a fun younger staff to work with. We were all recent grads and looking to establish our careers. The employee discounts and perks were actually quit nice as we could even get discounted mattresses.

    Cons

The company provided perks for their employees but the pay was substantially low for the DFW Metroplex. Working as a department supervisor i struggled to provide for my wife and I. We didnt have children at the time and would not have been able to survive

    Pros

Good people (overall), great benefits, nice atmosphere

    Cons

Lack of training, lack of work/life balance, Leadership is darn near horrible: management can pretty much treat you however they'd like and HR turns a blind eye, not as progressive of an organization as you might think/hope.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees: they are the backbone of the company and can truly make or break you. Treat them well and they will go above and beyond. Support them, train them properly and treat them like human beings.

    Pros

Great culture, genuinely cares about staff (they are called STARS), free lunch daily, good work life balance.

    Cons

As you can expect in ANY hospitality job, hours are sometimes long, and you will at some point miss a Christmas/other holiday.

    Advice to Management

    None.

  10. Very professional work environment and encouraging work force.

    Pros

Fun and professional atmosphere, beautiful campus

    Cons

Depending on the position, hard to work with co-workers, no penalty for calling in sick, no responsibility

    Advice to Management

Oversee the bellstaff more and don't be afraid to fire someone who needs to be fired.
