Pros
Benefits are great and more importantly, they're free. No out of pocket costs. 100% vesting in the 401(k) on day one. 15 days + 4 floating holidays + 3 summer days = 22 days off a year is pretty good too.
Cons
Upper management decisions seems almost arbitrary. Promotion opportunities are non-existant as they only get people in from the outside. Commumnication between departments is poor.
Advice to Senior Management
Have better, and more effective communication with employees. Promote more people from within the firm.
Pros
Beats panhandling and living on the streets.
Cons
Upper managament has no clue, plays favorites, leadership supports incompetent workers who are loyal, rather than competent workers. Benefits are poor. 1,000 hours + last day for profit sharing contribution. 6 year vesting.
Advice to Senior Management
Get out of the corner office, listen to what people really feel. The yes people you surround yourself with will only say yes.
