ProsThe pro's were the people in the group. They were very helpfull, and they encouraged you to go for it more in terms of finishing projects.

ConsUpper Managment didn't have the company very stable. It lead to the office being shut down. The cons was that the company laied off a lot of workers due to the move from Suffern, NY to Highland Heights, KY

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need to haveto have better upper management so that you don't kill the chemistry of the groups.

Highland Heights, Campbell, KY

Current Employee – been working at General Cable

ProsVery good coworkers that are understanding to your role within the company. Also, the cafeteria has been remodeled and is nice.

ConsThe Operations VP's are not respected within the organization which creates a tense working environment. Also, you must be a member of their club if you want to feel as if you are contributing to the organization. Generally, there is an overall negative vibe in the office and the culture is very rigid. The Jeans days have been taken away and the company does very little for its employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake some time to engage and colloborate with your coworkers.

ProsFor some people, the work is satisfying and challenging. The company has grown over time. It is a market leader in many areas. Tolerant of different cultures.

ConsCutbacks are severe when times are bad. Politics dictate who succeeds and who does not. If you are not on the fast track right away, and desire to move up, then it is time to move on.

Advice to Senior ManagementNo advice.
