    Pros

This company takes the moral high road. They hire adults, not children to groom into the roles.

    Cons

The vacation and employee benefits are not up to par in comparison to other companies.

  3. MAJOR ATTRITION RATE for SBA's, POOR TRAINING, BAD PAY!

    Pros

I believe in the company and the owners beliefs. I believe they care about people, but don't realize the learning curve for the people they are hiring to do the job to ever make any money.

    Cons

Money is awful. They hire people in from management or even previous business owners and tell them in all the ads they are going to make 60-80k easily. The learning curve for the lingo and the job is so long, everyone leaves. The training is sub par. No one that comes from another industry, which is almost only ones hired can possibly live on $14 an hour for long, but it takes at least 6-8 months to even come close to making more. I've never seen an attrition rate like this place. CLEARLY SOMETHING ISN'T WORKING!
Basically all the new hires make $14 an hour and scrub and harvest leads for the top 10 people in the company for a year before they can make any money themselves. and that's if they like you enough to put you in the top ten spots.
NO OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW IN COMPANY. NO WHERE TO GO!
The owner seems sincere, but he is believing a guy that is just interested in sales and doesn't care about lying to employees to get them in there.

    Advice to Management

    BETTER TRAINING!
    BETTER PAY!
    BETTER INSURANCE!
Something is clearly broken when only 10 people out of 90 a week....and usually the same 10, are making any money. Doesn't seem fair to bring good people in believing you are going to make their life better

    Pros

VPs treated me respectfully, company owner very generous to employees, pleasant co-worker as long as they were in the same job title that I was.

    Cons

Zero tolerance for those who did not follow the owner's religion. Grunt work was always passed from hand to hand and no one took responsibility for their job, job descriptions amd actual responsibilities greatly differed

  6. They are extremely professional and ethical.

Not much in way of management advancement.

    Pros

Great learning experience for entry level valuation "M&A" associate and great client interaction within broad industries.

    Cons

Read Rip-Off-Reports!!! VERY VERY poor compensation. Complete lack of ethics, call center orchestrated, VERY VERY poor management and customer relations, lack of ethics starts at ownership and flows through to management. Owners and management only care about their position, money, bonuses and could care less about anyone else including their employees and clients.

    Advice to Management

Have some morals and eithics. How high is your employee retention rate?

  8. Professional working environment; great management and peer group.

    Pros

Challenging work environment; performance based incentives, fair treatment, genuine concern for a quality employment experience

    Cons

M & A activity can be stressful and require long hours.

    Advice to Management

More team building outside the office, i.e. a company ball game or picnic, etc. to get to know co-workers in other departments

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn and expand your skill set. Great people and great leadership. I have worked for a number of companies in the M&A industry and Generational Equity, by far, is the best run and managed.

    Cons

This company and this industry are not for everyone. If you are looking for a job that will be the same day after day with no challenges, then don't get hired here. But if you are looking for a place that will encourage you daily to improve, grow, and develop, then this is the place for you. We operate in a highly competitve industry and we are challenged every day to be better than we were the day before.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking for the best and the brightest to join the team. The biggest issue with dramatic growth is finding the right people to fit the culture.

    Pros

The top people are rewarded for lying to business owners to get them in to a free luncheon meeting. the sad thing is that the meeting hosts are all very competent professionals with a dynamite presentation. but the attendees are fed so many lies to get them in the door that the close rate is not what it should be

    Cons

The worst training and upper management I have ever experienced...REMEMBER "FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS " work at Gen Equity. there is NO opportunity to
Advance , just an opportunity to be bullied and treated like crap by ineffective managers

    Advice to Management

if you want to come across as a Christian organization , stop letting your top performers lie to get attendees. bite the bullet and get some ethics

too much to be summarized here... the director is old and foolish... unwilling to make changes and stubborn. layer of lies pies upon one and other..

    Advice to Management

    stop wasting people's time.
