    Pros

Relationship with family members & patients, flexibility in schedule, earned time off, 2 personal days/year, location, no color coding for nursing scrubs, employee foundation program.

    Cons

Understaffed, work load, poor management, raises are 1% with a highly profited corporation( largest healthcare company in the U.S, also has facilities in China). Base pay for nurses is very low. Will accept any patient during referral process, even when staff can not meet their needs. Healthcare Insurance is not affordable for family plan & those that make 10.00/hr pay the same as someone with a salary of 50.00/hr. Everything revolves around a budget and not patient or staff needs & this includes supplies to perform job duties. Department managers expectations are very high for the compensation received.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to be more involved! You have to spend money to make money! When. You pay your staff for the work load they perform it increases morale and also has proven to make staff perform at higher standards because they feel valued. Know how to do the jobs that you are responsible for managing. Take responsibility and don't delegate every single thing, take on some duties to assist your coworkers!

    Pros

If you're lucky, you'll get an assignment to a nice facility/building. Up to date technology for keeping data.

    Cons

Company felt unstable. Major changes in the year that I was there, all relayed to finances: No more raises, changed PTO benefits, changed 401K contributions, and discontinued holiday pay and rrestructured how you request time off.

    Advice to Management

Advice to my then manager: Don't get personally involved with the staff you hire, especially when you're engaged to be married.

    Pros

I LOVED Patients- Long term was amazing, rehabilitation wing was something else Coworker- friendly, team work makes the dream work, really good people Wage incentives- above average for here in Toledo Facility- newly renovated made things easier to clean!

    Cons

I HATED Management thought they knew what was happening without leaving the front end Management treated it more as a business than it being about someones lives All about the money and no problem taking it back

    Advice to Management

You need to be seen by your employees! EVEN on 3rd shift it's embarrassing to work somewhere for so long and you not know there name because they work 3rd shift.
