I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

When working at Genpact, an employee can gain knowledge about other companies without actually working for that specific company.

    Cons

When working for Genpact, it is likely that a reduction in force can occur often if a project/company is removed or reduced.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If a reduction in force occurs, when management is deciding employees that will be retained management should choose employees with experience and potential and NOT choose employees based on friendship!

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The only thing that is great is salary.

    Cons

The management is very evil and smile in their employees faces, but stab them in the back. How can you be the number one 3rd party contracts when you are quick to fire every employee even if that make goal. Mangagement is the worst in the industry. Genpact upper management only think of themselves. Will Demote an very employee quickly. Favors are the core of new management of Genpact. Diversity is out the door , even though this Company is Indian Base (CEO). Recruiters from other companies have asked "What is happening at Genpact due to all the resumes these recruiters are getting from Genpact employees. If you decided to work here. BEWARE WATCH YOUR BACK DON'T TRUST MANAGEMENT . ALSO HAVE SOMETHING IN YOUR BACK POCKET IF THEY START TO PICK ON YOU.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper Mangement needs a overall, therefore, they will able to hold third party contracts. Stop being so evil to yours employees and worked together, therefore, Genpact will start receiving different contracts from companies. LEARN DIVERSITY if you do not embrace change, as a result, you will lose in the mortgage industry.

I worked at Genpact Mortgage full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good salary, easy going environment, good bonus structure

    Cons

Their management and HR department is very disappointing. They spend more time trying to figure out who to fire than helping their company grow. There is so much negative energy in that building. Everybody is walking on egg shells around one manager. If she doesn't like you she will do anything in her power to get you fired. It is very unethical but HR does nothing to stop it. They are very retaliatory even though at EVERY meeting they discuss how they are a non retaliation company. They are so hypothetical. After every manager meeting and everytime someone is fired or written up (which happens monthly ) the whole floor knows all the details. This information should be confidential. This company has no code of ethics. No one there even knows what the PIP policy is because it changes monthly to fit the needs of who each manger wants to get rid of next. That company needs to change management and then promote growth and boost moral. If they did that it would be a great place to work. Unfortunately I don't ever see that happening. So my only advice to any new employees is to stay on everyone's good side or you won't last long. NO MATTER HOW GOOD OF A WORKER YOU ARE.

    I worked at Genpact Mortgage

    Pros

Although not terribly attractive now, working for a company providing IT services for the mortgage industry proved to be educational.

    Cons

Working in the mortgage industry, working for an overseas employer who viewed American workers as less equal than their Indian counterparts regardless of merit or performance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I worked at Genpact Mortgage

    Pros

The company is like a family. Everyone cares about everyone else from the President to the receptionist. I was honored to be a part of such a wonderful comany.

    Cons

Genpact is a servicing comany therefore it is not just up to Genpact for job security. They do all they can to keep their staff if one comany leaves, but there is no always a position for everyone and that can be hard to understand
