Cons

Promotions are very slow
Even the yearly increments are very less
Advice to Senior Management
Improve the human resource activities and pay the employees according to the market environment
Improve the system of promotions and increments
Pros
1) Training
2) Options available
3) Education @ work
4) Availability of different industries
5) Availability of centres at many locations
6) Professionalism by management
Cons
1) Salary structure , its the same as was there 10 years back
2) Too much focus on reducing & cost cutting
Pros
1) Frequent training and courses
2) Good Company for plain graduates(Non-Engineering field)
3) Offices has good Ambience, Logistics, Security etc
4) You will learn about Six Sigma/Lean
5) Cab facilities for night shifts
6) Company’s tagline says "Maintain Leadership"- you could get special 'care' if your are into leadership team
7) Will make you "Jack of All Trade"- Learn multiple skills
8) You will learn "Ownership"
9) Work from home facility (For female employee especially), Child crunches etc
10) Every 5th person is labeled as Asst Manager--You also have a good chance
11) 3 Month notice period--Good to downside attrition
12) Good opportunities for social work through Corporate Social Responsibilities(CSR)
Cons
1) Not a good place for core Software/Engineering techies
2) You might waste 30% of your daily time(Even though you are at operation level not managerial) in Meetings/Follow-Up / Escalation/ Re-scheduling/ Planning on papers etc.
3) Client expect your complete 8 hrs in the project, but company wants you to spend some time on company specific "extra-curriculum" activities.
4) Sometime you will realize that you are in a Government offices and the team you are dealing needs to be "Logically bribed/followed-up/escalated" to get the things done
5) Will make you "Jack of All Trade"- Lack Specialization
6) Everything is done through helpdesk ticket, for example if your washroom doesn’t have tissue paper or Shared printer is out of paper or to start Projector in the Conference room.
7) No On-Bench strength--Hires resource when required
8) 3 Month notice period--Not good for seasonal job changer
9) 2 type of Official functions/Outings, One for 'All' and another for Managers only
Advice to Senior Management
You have excellent Marketing/Sales team that are bringing new projects/deals on board, but you really need "Specialized" middle Mgmt team or supervisor to "MAINTAIN' these assignment for long term, please take out some time to review the health of projects that were onboarded few year back.
Pros
1) Good amount of trainings
2) Best starter company for fresher bachelor graduates
3) Cab facilities
4) Exposure to Six Sigma processes
5) You will learn how to get the things done (Followup, Escalation, Meetings,Processes etc..etc..)
Cons
1) Company not for a core Software techies
2) Middle Management has less experience in managing Software Projects, reason is very simple that they are primarily from BPO domain of business.
3) 'Confusing' designations and band system, specially Band 4 , (I have seen example wherein a new designation was CREATED because the next defined designation was already occupied)
4) Sometime like Government Offices where in you have to "bargain/ logically bribe/ escalates / complaint" about the person with whom your task is due
5) Better to join this company only as Managers or AVP's
Advice to Senior Management
Top management/Marketing/ Business-Transition mgmr are doing really good job to acquire new assignment/business/clients, but I think company can grow more if you could RETAIN these business/assignment for long time (Specially Software)
Pros
Good place for learning
Company hold global accounts
Cons
No Salary hike and perks
Payout is below industry standard (Pay Less Expect More)
No proper recognition to employees
Very Political Management
Disguise employee with false commitments
Advice to Senior Management
Employees are valuable asset to the company so better be honest to them rather giving falsehood commitments and screwing their careers.
Pros
Okay for freshers seeking a foothold and getting education opportunities+ work experience, work life balance okay, cosmopoltan work atmosphere.
Cons
Promotions not transparent, they are more into hiring mediocre people while talented people underutilised/ stagnate, do not rotate managers in diferrent roles so the mangers begin to use unfair influence; too much emphasis on visibility/ extracurricular activity
