    I worked at Genpact

    Pros

Great Pay, great benefits, lean training, some of management.

    Cons

Horrible work/life balance. This is an outsourcing company that is very demanding and policies and procedures do not remain consistent. Its a revolving door, people are fired constantly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to work with your employees equally. Keep policies and procedures as consistent as possible. Stop making the good people leave!

    Cons

pay scale is on the lower side apart from that there is nothing else I could think of - one of the best companies.

I worked at Genpact as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Genpact had a generous training program particularly as it relates to 6-Sigma. Normal work environments allowed you to learn a lot about clients, their industries, and Genpact processes.

    Cons

Senior management continually ignored its rank and file. While I was there, I was not approached once about how things were going. And when I raised issues they were largely ignored. People were not paid fairly and, for the most part, were over worked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Much of the senior management from the VP level up needs to be swapped out. They don't have a good understanding of how business works in the US and are not realistic or honest with themselves, their teams, or their constituents. If they are going to stay there for the long haul, they need to take the honest feedback from the rank and file and make changes.

I have been working at Genpact

    Pros

Working from home is nice and relieves some of the extraordinary demands of work. Some talented colleagues who work very hard. Negotiated hard for a competitive salary.

    Cons

Quite a disfunctional org. Random strategies with no buy-in below C Level. Hierarchical culture, where only VPs and above fly business class regardless of length of trip.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instill a culture that promotes work/life balance and set the example through your own actions. Improve internal processes which are completely chaotic e.g. IExpense. Travel policy should be based on length of trip, not hierarchy. Everyone needs to sleep on an overnight flight regardless of their level.
