    Pros

Helping people get Home Health services. I learned how to use electronic databases: ROI, Allscripts, Epic, ProviderLink & how to upload patient information into GentivaLink.

    Cons

Had to work more than I was at home & I had just gotten married. The hours kept increasing with no sight of relief.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to be a precense & not holed up in their offices. They need to be open to suggestions & have meetings when there are changes instead of sending out emails & assuming everyone has read them when there over 500 or more emails a day.

    Pros

Clinical delivery and specialty programs set them apart. Training resources and requirements for all members of the team lead to the highest caliber people in the field.

    Cons

Corporate structure is slow moving and not always flexible to change.

  3. Office environment is very uncomfortable.

    Pros

    Good pay/benefits; finally going paperless.

    Cons

Office is a very uncomfortable place to be. Blatant passive aggressive behavior by some staff goes unchecked.

    Advice to Management

Pointing out individual mistakes in front of other staff is degrading morale.

    Pros

Patients - Benefits - That pretty much sums it up

    Cons

Dont even get me started. Expectations are unrealistic if you want to have a life! See patients 8 hrs then go home and do charting - without pay - When voicing opinion - tough! This is the way it is and it doesnt need fixed. That's their attitude. I doubt the Dept of Labor would agree that you work all day go home and dont get paid the additional 8 hrs.

    Advice to Management

Stop going by statistics! Our patients are people - not numbers! Give the staff time to do their jobs without sacrificing their home life.

Good pay, not family friendly, poor work/life balance, upper level management needs an overhaul.

    Pros

Good benefits, pay and good software to do paperwork.

    Cons

Management very disorganized; Unrealistic Expectations for employees.

    Advice to Management

Need to recognize the importance of staff who create the company.... the ones in contact with patients and that bring in the money! Requiring too much brings low patient quality of care and poor outcomes. Bottom line seems more important than patient care.

    Pros

Good Company; Fair to Poor Management

    Cons

Heavy Management Disorganization; Unrealistic Expectations from Employees.

    Advice to Management

RECOGNIZE VALUE OF EMPLOYEES/STAFF. REMEMBER, WITHOUT FAITHFUL EMPLOYEES NO PATIENT RETENTION. TOO MUCH FOCUS ON BOTTOM LINE PROFITS. NEEDS TO REFOCUS ON PATIENTS FIRST ALWAYS.
