    Pros

New corporate standards are a step in the right direction for bringing company practices up to industry expectations. Decent location

    Cons

Lack of accountability, inadequate resourcing of projects with unrealistic timelines. Inadequate communication across projects to ensure consistent practices and alignment to standards. De motivating annual salary increases.

    Advice to Management

Improve monitoring of project timelines, hold individuals accountable for meeting deliverables. Need to be more proactive in addressing issues and stop fighting last minute fires to meet deliverables without quality or a sustainable practices.

    Pros

Excellent work environment. Co-workers were extremely welcoming and willing to help with trainings so that I could learn at a faster pace and get into the real work more quickly. It is a strict work environment, but the employees make it enjoyable and you are happy to wake up for work each morning.

    Cons

Tasks varied each day, which was sometimes unpredictable - but still manageable.

    Advice to Management

Make sure employees are doing what they need to be doing while not working downstairs in the animal facility. This would benefit the people around them as well.

    Pros

Benefits. vacation time, location with plenty of parking

    Cons

Stressed out employees, lack of technical talent due to clueless HR

    Advice to Management

Fire the HR recruiter now - she's a disaster! I recommended a former coworker for a current senior manufacturing tech to the department head 2 months ago, he requested my friend be brought in for an interview - the HR recruiter refuses to grant an interview insisting she will determine who gets interviewed. I can only imagine how many well qualified candidates this woman is blocking from joining the company - get rid of her to get talented, qualified people in the door!

    Pros

Great people, challenging environment, often promote from within

    Cons

Salaries are generally lower than competitors

    Advice to Management

Spend a little more retaining your best talent rather than a lot more later trying to get inexperienced replacements up to speed.

    Pros

good working atmosphere, very nice colleagues, good location

    Cons

outdated processes, internal databases and tools encumber and hinder modernization efforts. Bureaucratic system requires overhaul and rejuvenation.

    Advice to Management

consolidate site wide operations management and recording tools. Invest in proper software, using excel for operations management is not contemporary. Invest more in process modernization.
