I worked at Global Environmental Network full-time

    Pros

Monday to Friday, 8 to 5 or 730 to 430
    Co-workers are friendly and nice.

    Cons

    No career growth potential
It's sad that most workers were nice and had good work ethic, but the management doesn't encourage any career growth. No salary increase for long time. No performance review.

I worked at Global Environmental Network

    Pros

    -Monday through Friday
    -Good, not great, benefits
    -Interesting field

    Cons

-VERY poor communication between management and staff
-Management insists on control, but does not come to work
-VERY poor planning on behalf of management
-Staff expected to fix and cover for failures from management
-No clear job descriptions/every changing job descriptions
-Dissatisfied, stressed coworkers create a hostile/uncomfortable work environment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a strong foundation of policies and procedures BEFORE creating new work for already over-worked employees, trust your employees and LISTEN to them. Focus on the bottom line, but not at the expense of your workforce.
