A greaT place to work. Must have great interpersonal skills and dedication to succeed.

Account Executive (Current Employee) White Plains, NY

ProsGreat company culture. Employees and support staff are dedicated. Freedom to negotiate terms on deals in comparison with similar companies. Employees made it a great place to work. Effective leadership. Give salespeople many tools and support. Many incentives for meeting quotas like 2-3 company paid trips annually to places such as Ireland, Cancun, San Diego, Virgin Islands, etc.

ConsBeing new in the field, must put in long hours to be successful during your 1st year (~50-55 per week). Micro-management is helpful in getting sales numbers up but some can find it overbearing. Sometimes "guerilla sales" tactics are used, which is commonplace in the copier/printing industry.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement is doing a greaT job. No changes to be made in regards to this.

    Sales Manager (Current Employee)

ProsGlobal Imaging Systems is a Xerox owned company that is locally managed which allows for strategic planning and customization for regional accounts.
Global Imaging Systems provides a strong environment for entrepreneurial minded individuals.
Best practice sharing within core business allows individual companies to adopt new ideas quickly.
The Xerox connection opens a lot of doors for business.

ConsGlobal Imaging Systems is starting to lose some of the autonomy that made Global great.
    The industry is very competitive.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt would be helpful if Global Corporate provided national brand awareness through targeted advertising to C Level executives.
More marketing material from the corporate office.
