    Pros

Company was a no none sense, know your job and be clear about the answers to the interview panel.

    Cons

Great office communication among Insight Global made it simple to ask about the interview and hiring process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A bit better update after the interview and hiring.

I have been working at Global Insight as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Recruiter was very proactive, excellent meeting with client to understand skillsets and meeting expectations.
I was very clear about what I wanted and got it documented, follow through was great.
Interview schedules were kept, paperwork was less than expected based on other contracting I have done.
Received feedback after 30 days as requested, minimal contact after the first 30 days.

    Cons

Benefits are pricey. Build it into your salary. Get your time card in on time. Do not lie about anything, background check is thorough and extensive.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Global Insight full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They were very nice and seemed to be interested in my career
Insight Global recruited me for a position at a local Medical Device company

    Cons

Check your compensation: I was offered a certain amount per hour, over the phone, but when I received my first paycheck, it was lower than what had been promised. I complained and Insight Global claimed I was was the one who made the mistake. I have perfectly good hearing, I know very well what I was offered. I would recommend if you get an offer, that you have them send you a quick email with the amount in writing.

I made it very clear to my recruiter that I needed health insurance. She told me I would be able to sign up for insurance once I started with them. When I started the new position in early August, I attempted to set up my insurance and found out insurance would not be available to me until November 1st, almost 90 days later. I ended up having to go to Covered California to get insurance. I also found out the cost for their insurance is very high, I will probably stay with Covered California.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make a policy to be very clear to potential recruits that health insurance will not be available until 60 to 90 days after you start.

I have been working at Global Insight as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Simple processes for consultants, great followup by recruiter during lengthy background check

    Cons

None so far. Processes are less automated than last staffing company I contracted at, but that's OK with me.

I have been working at Global Insight full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Initially, my recruiter was very professional. Kept in contact and updated me on the project. Weekly compensation. Offered benefits.

    Cons

Under rated my compensation based on my work experience and offered an opportunity to meet the clients needs. Never offered opportunity to benefit the consultants work experience, very unprofessional and negative when discussing compensation, belittled the job to low ball the pay rate. Not trust worthy as an employer. The recruiters main goal was the client over the consultant. After complaint of sexual harassment from their client to my recruiter, my recruiter disclosed my concerns to the client not to my benefit but to keep the client as a client even after I requested to be assigned to another contract without pursuing any action against the client but only to be reassigned; even after the client praised my technical skills. NOT TRUST WORTHY as an employer

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Require ethics training for all recruiters. Recruiters should be held accountable when a consultant has a complaint against a client based on any type of harassment. Consultants should be able to trust the recruiter. A hierarchy put in place for the consultants if issue's are not resolved at the recruiter level.
