I have been working at Global Payments (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with and very effective training.

    Cons

The pay is low and you may have to work short staffed due to high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Turnover is expensive. It may be worth it to pay call center employees a higher rate.

I worked at Global Payments full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I can't think of any. Working at any comparable company while supporting over 200+ products employees would receive better pay and treatment.

    Cons

To many to list. Over the last year they've lost more than 60% of their technical staff to poor treatment, unfulfilled promises, bad management and scheduling.

I worked at Global Payments full-time

    Pros

    hard to think of anything

    Cons

moving jobs offshore works but not the way this organization does it

    Advice to Management

clear top down and bottom at once or lots of managers with nothing to manage - focus on people who started up the company who sometimes cause the biggest problems.

I worked at Global Payments full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

NONE! I have never worked for a more selfish, poorly run, incompetent company.

    Cons

Management was all about making their money but not making sure the employees were compensated for their hard work NOR was there a work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Put yourself in the shoes of those who help you make your 6-figure incomes, while we struggle to maintain a livelihood more than check to check or 2 baby steps from homelessness, as they continue to take away our jobs to send them over seas to pay workers less. Its a shame.

I worked at Global Payments (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent company that is growing around the world. Solid management and plan. Good workers and environment. Work life balance is excellent for most.

    Cons

Growing around the world so every May is cut time in North America. Some great managers, but there is an aura of a protected class and favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Test your management team to see how many could actually meet the minimum standards set for the hourly employees that are hired.
