    Pros

    If you are willing to work both hard and smart, GlobalHue could be one of the best things to ever happen to you professionally. There are supportive people there in just about every department that are a wealth of knowledge and experience, and they're usually more than happy to be a resource. I had the best boss ever in my time there. Stress EVER. It's a good work environment. And the clients are open to innovative approaches, particularly Jeep.

    Cons

    Nothing significant, unless you prefer bankers hours.

    Keep nurturing the up-and-comers and rewarding the loyal and hard working vets.

    Pros

    What I appreciated the most was the level teamwork between personnel, everyone was cordial and approachable. I made life long friends there. I gained so much experience professionally and personally while starting out as summer intern 2 summers in a row to go on and be hired full time.

    Cons

    Lack of advancement for an intern turned full time employee. I worked tirelessly for two years and two summers but received no increase in pay, though my position and title changed. I was told by HR the company didn't have the money to promote.

    Provide more opportunity for mentoring incoming interns and recent college graduates.

    Pros

    Working with the most creative and team oriented people in the business. Great work to life balance and excellent benefit package. Because we are a midsized company, you learn different roles in your department and are not pigeonholed into one thing. Leadership promotes ideas and career advancement.

    Agency life is not for everyone. Must be willing to adapt to change and work in a fast paced environment.

    Pros

    Many good employees, most of which do not last very long.

    Cons

    Owner absent, just wants to use company as petty cash. Brought in incompetent and lazy managers to run the company while he and his buddys spent money before it went out of style trying to cozy up to hip-hop stars and dabble in the entertainment business. It went very bad, as they lack any talent whatsoever. So clients bolted out as well as most employees.

    You just do not get business because you are a minority any more. Remember hard work?

    CEO's cockiness alone won't rebound the agency. Go out and hire the best talent, grow the agency's capabilities, and the business will come back.

    Pros

    The diversity of people and multicultural work. Working in a Hispanic and/or African American agency can be fun as their is a lot of brand work and the clients are big names.

    Cons

    Ownership, senior management, the nasty political culture and lack of ethics. Also the trajectory of the agency has been down for 5+ years. They really only have a couple of clients and much of the revenue claims and press releases about how big the agency is are misleading. Not 300 people. More like 75.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Retire and hire someone to run the agency while you never interfere.
