    Pros

As a benefit I can mention the projects that they have. They are very interesting, and you usually learn a lot

    Cons

I don’t work there anymore because I moved to a different city. I have nothing bad to say about the company.

    Pros

There is a huge advantage in working for Globant, but physically at a client's office. In contrast to working for a large firm like HP or Qualcomm, where you can do career for life, Globant provides a very dynamic environment for those who have the opportunity of working onsite. We get to change customer's every 1, 2 or 3 years, which allows us to be exposed to new process', work environments & ethics, culture's, ideas, ways of thinking, leaders and many many more. We get to do this within large clients (i.e. EA, Disney, Sony, etc.). In an industry lead by folks under 40 years of age, what is more important for you? Build your career at a large firm and stay put? Or building your skills by getting the feel of how other firms work?

    Cons

The only con for me, is the fact that you are never able to tell exactly when you will be moving from one city to another. So your leases, cable contracts, etc., are always a hassle.

    Advice to Management

Use this to your advantage, as there are many use cases for this to be helpful. I know I've used it with great success in the past.

    Pros

They have some of the nicest, sharpest, and most personable employees I've seen. They promised that my employment status with them would be full-time and they would send me to different clients. They also stated that while I'm on bench time, I would be getting my full salary until they found me another client to work for.

    Cons

My contract with Disney Studios ended and they asked me to resign. Before Globant, I had a permanent full time position. They attracted me with the fact that my employment with Globant would also be full-time, and only the clients would be changing. Well, at the end of my contract with their first client, they informed me that they had no other clients where I lived. I had made it clear that I could not relocate and at the time of hire, they said it should be fine... well it wasn't and I found myself out of a job.

    Advice to Management

Train your recruiters to tell the truth to people. I know you guys want to hire as many consultants as you want, but be honest with people. If you promise a position that you don't have, tell them. I know that if I had known that Disney was their only client in SoCal, I would have never left my full time position.

    Pros

    Cool clients, lots of WFH

    Cons

the soul of the company is revenue driven, nothing matters except making money, bill as much as you can, pay as little as possible to developers. The main business in this company is currency arbitrage between clients and employees.

    Advice to Management

Value employees, they are not numbers

    Pros

You will be able to work on great companies and probably good projects. Good to gain some level of experience. If you come from abroad, they will make things easy for you to get here and facilitate work visa process.

    Cons

    1. Salary way under the average for senior dev positions. 2. You are just a number. 3. When it comes to ask for help for managers, it could take weeks for them to reply when it comes to salary inquires. It's not only me the one who thinks and has ended up concluding this. 4. No cool perks at all. 5. Not comfortable on your position they will do all they can to stop you from moving to another project

    Advice to Management

They won't Mind about anything i could type here. Are they? Managers rotate their positions a lot!

Great career paths, the company is always looking to insert you in relevant projects.

    Cons

Since it's a multinational company, it's difficult to get in touch with every level of it.
