    Pros

Flexible timing Work Life balance ( On bench) Sarkari Environment ( Come on time- Leave on time) Self Learning Scope ( as nobody care to interfere)

    Cons

1.Poor management: manufacturing mentality, pressure on the consultants, on mutual communication or discussions. 2.Bad project management : No MIS, human element missing, no supervision on the work delivery 3. Poor infrastructure : specially in branch offices 4. HR / Accounts : policy paralysis... for every thing they have policy to defend them selves 5. No Training function : believes in self learning thru PDFs if available 6.. BOND: for freshers they have a bond for 2 years - 2 lakhs 7. No Vision mission communication to employees 8. No top line bottonline communication to employees 9. increment happens in oct (due from march ) withno communication 10. Performance Pay (Max of 30%) is given at average level 10-12 that too in by aug-sept, with ofcourse no prior communicaition 11. Medical premium dedcution frm salary for B band is whooping 20K per year. 12. Bad SAlary structure: Small basic, big HRA1,HRA2,HRA3, since comp is saving on PF contiburtion and u end up paying higher tax 13.nobody from mgmt cares to talk to ppl on bench 14.management mindset is rigid and orthodox

    Advice to Management

Please run it like a IT Comp and get fresh ppl from outside in the mgmt. Improve MIS. Policy is made for ppl and not ppl for policy.

    Pros

No one will interfere in your work so you can do whatever you can to improvise yourself. Since managers are afraid that they would be asked for help they never follow up until and unless it is month or quarter end. So it is the only one big plus.

    Cons

Company follows rules by convenience of Finance and Recruitment (there is no HR dept !!). They deduct highest medical policy amount even when 90% of organization is not in agreement. Every year at least 20-25% experienced workforce leaves so if you are manager be ready for no resource availability from March- June. 90% of top management is 20+ yrs old, and they are from mfg. background hence they have no idea of IT. So you could expect all stupid reasoning. They do not acknowledge rent agreement receipts like other companies in fact like their parent company too. HR is the weakest department and Finance is the strongest where in Finance is rudest department you can find in any organization.

    Advice to Management

None, as they will never listen if they do will never understand.

    Pros

Good 360 degree view of job arena, small company so learning the ropes of management and picking up knowledge of profile skills is good.

    Cons

Management has little or no experience of I.T consulting, mostly belong to different industries, no leadership strategy to take the company forward, more reactive than proactive leadership, top management does not give a direction to the company per se.

    Advice to Management

Please sit down and discuss a strategy to take the company ahead. Right now, decisions are being taken reactively when you do have the control to be proactive in giving the company a solid strategy for the future. From you strategy, the rest of the companies' employees' goals are decided. Without some direction to the top, the company won't progress. Also stop micro-managing employees and focus on what is truly important. Focusing on decision making on a client case-by-case basis is not progressive management. That is for middle managers to do, not senior leadership.
