    I worked at Goldman Sachs

    Pros

The pay and extra benefits are very rewarding, you end up working with very smart people that you can learn from, career advancement opportunities are plenty.

    Cons

I guess the biggest dissadvantage is the fact collaboration is not fostered by higher management. This could lead to higher stress.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The main advice for management is to do more to
foster cooperation. Big deals are not made by just an individual but by a full team.

I have been working at Goldman Sachs

    Pros

You will get to work with brilliant people and be exposed to different perspectives.

    Cons

Your growth and compensation completely depends on the sort of relationship you have with your manager (no matter how hard you work)
Forget about work life balance altogether. (I'd say its negative, if I may)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more importance to people management and don't promote people to a manager's role for the sake of doing it.
Although Goldman recruits brilliant people, they all leave because of TERRIBLE managers!!

Draw a line and Move it every time with guidance and confidence.

I like the way they are. Stronger the rules are, stronger we get. Its all about how, we adapt.
